Hagen is an Agile product development consultant, supporting startups and established companies in developing digital products and setting up the right teams. His current projects include building a completely new product, assessing teams or startups on their viability, and IT recruiting. In the past he has worked in leadership positions in software development, e.g. as a Director Technology at XING.
Making recruiting more agile is something he started to do in 2015. He had already been a line manager in software development before, when he started in a new position. The number of open positions and the technology know-how needed made it very clear to him, that his own time and technology experience alone would not be enough, so he involved the Scrum teams from the beginning. Through multiple refinements this went on to become the best hiring process he had ever experienced. In later client engagements he was able to teach and refine these collaborative hiring techniques.
